Where the Ellen table is defined by its functional adjustability and tubular steel precision, the Kyoto is defined entirely by its beautiful curves and design — a sculptural, organically formed solid wood base that is the antithesis of the rectilinear, industrial furniture that dominates.
This is the first solid wood coffee table reviewed in this entire series — and importantly, the wood here is not a veneer, not a wood-look laminate, and not a wood accent on a steel frame.
