The Waverly is classified as non-swivel and stationary—joining the Bradley, Miller, Ethan, Adriana, and Otis in the stationary category—but it differs from all of them in one important respect: it has a fully upholstered seat and backrest, making it the most comfort-forward non-swivel stool in this entire series. Where the Miller has a saddle seat with no back, the Ethan has a compact low back, and the Otis has a square backless seat, the Waverly delivers the full upholstered back-and-seat package of a Benson or Grissom without the swivel mechanism.
